Ambience
Built in 1882 and located at an altitude of 700 m above the holiday destination of Saint-Luc in Val d'Anniviers, this mountain hotel is one of the highest historical hotels in Switzerland. It offers 30 very simple bedrooms (with a shared bathroom) and a restaurant which harks back to a bygone era. The sunny terrace, sheltered from the north wind, is also a place where you can easily spend the entire afternoon - until you have to force yourself back to civilisation.

Cuisine
Delicious delicacies from the Valais, mainly with regional produce. House speciality is the blueberry cake. Good selection of Valais wines.

Location
Located at 2,337 m above sea level, this hotel is surrounded by nothing other than the Valais 4,000-m peaks. The Weisshorn is only accessible on foot. In the mornings, hotel guests can ski up to the slopes of Saint-Luc - Chandolin or ski down to the village of Saint-Luc. The way back from the ski slopes to the hotel can be aided with the help of a piste caterpillar shuttle service.
