How do I set up a reminder?

What is the benefit of the "Reminder" functionality ?
The Reminder functionality is available for all date-related displays. It reminds you of the next appointment with a lead time defined by you. For example, you can be reminded of a concert with a lead time of two days. Or you can be reminded of the monthly waste paper collection every evening before.

How will I be reminded?
When activating a reminder, you can specify whether you want to receive the reminder via WhatsApp, via e-mail or via both channels.

In addition, you will find the menu item "My reminders" in your account. All reminders are listed on this page.

Where is the functionality available?
The "Reminder" functionality is available on all portals and websites that use guidle functionalities to display ads. The functionality is not available on media that obtain ads from guidle but prepare them for the visitor with their own functionalities.

How do I activate a reminder?
On the detailed view of the ad you will find the button "Activate reminder" and in the footer the icon "Activate reminder". Click on one of these two options. You will then be guided through the activation process.

Can I deactivate reminders again?
In every delivered reminder you will find a link that will take you to the display. There you can adjust, pause or delete the reminder.

Can I activate multiple reminders?
You can activate as many reminders as you like.

DoI necessarily need an account to use this functionality?
In order to activate, modify or delete reminders, the visitor must be logged into his account. Opening an account is free of charge and does not involve any obligations.
