Gravel community event with coffee and breathtaking routes

Gravel biking and coffee - a perfect match! At the third edition of the Gravel & Coffee Weekend in Flims, we celebrate this combination. The Gravel Ride Out offers the perfect opportunity to explore the region around Flims-Laax on a gravel bike and off the beaten track.
The Flem Gravel Ride Out takes you up high. On two routes of different lengths, we discover some of the most beautiful gravel routes in Graubünden in the Safiental-Heinzenberg region. However, the effort is not only rewarded with breathtaking views. During the sweat-inducing ride, which leads to over 2000 m above sea level, we fortify ourselves with the finest coffee and local snacks during an extensive break.

The routes
The Epic Route is not for the faint-hearted: Around 90 kilometers, 2700 vertical meters and many wow moments await you. This route leads along challenging and varied gravel paths into the heart of the Grisons mountains. Your efforts will be more than rewarded - with a route that is both physically challenging and scenically inspiring, and with the incomparable feeling of being part of a real gravel adventure. The Epic Route is for experienced gravel riders who want to push their limits and go beyond them.

The Explorer Route offers the perfect experience for anyone who prefers to take it a little easier, but doesn't want to miss out on adventure. You decide whether you want to set off alone or join our “Guided No Drop Group”. Flowing forest trails, gentle climbs and wonderful views around Flims and
Domleschg await you on around 70 kilometers and almost 2000 meters of altitude. Ideal for gravel newcomers or anyone who wants to spend the day enjoying gravel biking - with fun, support and no pressure to perform. BBQ, music and bikes
But this weekend is not just about gravel biking and drinking coffee. The Flem Gravel Ride Out is all about meeting new people and having a good time together. We end the day with a cozy BBQ and music on the Flem Lodge terrace, with good vibes and cool people who share the same passion. Speaking of passion: if you want, you also have the opportunity to test the latest Specialized bikes.

The hosts
The Flem Mountain Lodge in the heart of Flims offers the perfect starting point for gravel tours. The hosts Anita and Caro Gehrig are professional mountain bikers and have already experienced a lot on their gravel bikes. Now they are bringing gravel biking to their home for the third time; in the alpine region around Flims, the possibilities are almost limitless.
