Alloys for Additive Manufacturing Symposium
EPFL - Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, Neuchâtel
Join the alloys for additive manufacturing symposium and explore the latest advancements in materials science and microstructure design.
The 2025 edition of the Alloys for Additive Manufacturing Symposium (AAMS) will take place on the beautiful Neuchâtel campus (Microcity) of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. Following the previous events in Düsseldorf, Zürich, Sheffield, Gothenburg, Munich, Madrid, and Paris, this 8th edition of AAMS will continue to explore the advancements at the forefront of materials science in metal additive manufacturing.
AAMS 2025 will delve into all aspects of the materials science behind AM for metals and composite materials with metallic phases. We invite contributions from experimental, theoretical, and computational researchers to explore topics such as feedstock creation and characterization, degradation mechanisms in AM processing, in-process alloying and in situ microstructure characterization, or post-processing techniques and resulting material properties. We especially welcome research on optimizing existing alloys for AM and the innovative design of tailor-made alloys suited to AM processes.
