Time for a trip to the museum - we leave the wallet at home!

A Saturday full of art and culture? Why not take the whole family to Villa Abegg in Riggisberg on a sunny August Saturday and admire the eye-deceptive textiles there? Or we can pack a picnic and visit the Botanical Garden and later lie down in the clover next to the Paul Klee Center. If the weather is very hot or rainy, we can find an inspiring change in the cultural centers of the city of Bern: The Bern Art Museum, the Bern Historical Museum and the Bern Natural History Museum catapult us into the past with fascinating objects. The wide range of offerings leaves nothing to be desired for a perfect summer day, which can only be improved with a swim in the Aare and a gelato.
