Being active when it is bitterly cold outside is a really special winter pleasure. Whether natural or artificial ice – the human race is forever fascinated by it. Ice skating, Bavarian curling, curling.

Even the youngest ice sport fans meet here to play at being the ice queen or to play ice hockey against each other. Adults are welcome too. The ice rink can be hired by the hour. Or you can just stop by to watch when local ice hockey club, EHC Zermatt, is training. No village should be without a natural ice rink. You can also have fun on the ice in Täsch and Randa. All the necessary equipment can be hired nearby.

Current note: The ice rink is available for free for school classes. Adults and guests are still required to register under gemeinde.zermatt.ch/freizeitanlagen/anmeldung
